Surreal Tutorial Review

The Photoshop surreal landscape I decided on creating was written by Jenny Le and posted here in this tutorial called How to Create a Photo Manipulation of a Cat and Flying Fish With Adobe Photoshop. The tutorial was clearly defined and instructions were easy and clear to follow. Although the instructions given were a bit different from keys we were able to use. Like in the instructions it said to hold the control key and some other key but instead of the control key we need to hold the command key. I figured that out once my teacher told me to press the command key instead of the control key. I think that this surreal tutorial would be best suitable for an intermediate photoshop user. The tutorial topic was quite interesting and from this tutorial I learned how to quickly access certain tools instead of looking for it on the tool bar. This made it easier to get my work done. I stuck to the directions for the most part except for little things like copying the background layer, which wasn't really necessary.

Animated.gif

My Animated .gif

My first efforts in developing my own animated .gif was coming up with a rocket surprise ending. The techniques applied and story I created was just a rocket ship leaving earth and going passed the moon and the galaxy to Jupiter. I just wanted my rocket ship to go through space like a real rocket ship and have a destination to go to and get there. My ship kind of just explored through space and different planets and moons.

School Theme Colorguard

My school theme gif I chose was Colorguard. I decided on this school theme because I'm in Cologuard and I thought it would be cool to do my gif on this, also because not many people know what it is until they know someone in it. My animated gif message was to inform people about what we do in Colorguard and what it is. It has to do with using a flag and making a band performance more attractive because just listening to the music isn't  as fun as watching a show to it. In Colorguard we dance, use flags, sabers and rifles. I believe the intended audience, people who like to dance but challenge their dancing a little more by using different things and dancing around a field, will respond to my animation because it provides enough information to interest them in doing something exciting and to look more into it. I sent the gif to the band director and I have not yet received a response from him. What I would do differently with my next project would be to include some more detail and make it look more interesting and fun and exciting.

Celebrity Sighting

Captured by TMZ Paparazzi

Auli'i and Gladys

Picture of Auli'i Cravalho with Gladys Sandoval is seen all over the internet. Very surprising to see her out at the beach with a fan in Hawaii. Looks as if their on the balcony of a hotel room they're staying at. Since when does this acting sensation go on vacation with her fans. It has been discovered that not only is Gladys a fan but one of Auli'i Cravalho's closest friends. What shocking news it is that we have never heard of her in past interviews.

Vision for the Future

Vision Board

"This is what I have planned for my future, created using Photoshop and my determination to make it happen"
Two images that I chose are the baby with wire like things attached to it, like from the doctors and the one with an airplane going around the world. I chose the first image because I would like to become a neonatal nurse when I grow due to the fact that I like to care for children and I'd like to work with them. The second image was chosen beacause when I grow up I would like to travel the world and visit new places.
